Success Factors

There are some key factors that need to be considered when setting up a successful biomass power plant. Integral to the success of the plant are those factors defining the production of biogas:

  • type of biomass substrate used
  • acid level
  • amount of dry substance providing the biomass physical structure
  • sustained, balanced mix of biomass substrate
  • sufficient aerobic pre-processing (natural ph value, temperature)
  • fermentation time, replacement rhythm, balanced mix with pre-processed biomass
  • biogas quality
  • gasification process control
  • microbiological improvements

All of these factors require understanding and attention by the biomass power plant operator in order to ensure the success of your Biomass power plant.
